African Percussion - Nevada Arts Council Grant

Our Lady of Las Vegas School has been granted the opportunity by the Nevada Arts Council to experience the culture and music of Africa through Las Vegas resident artist and specialist Mr. Harold Akyeampong. The concert is the culmination of a month-long project with the 7th and 8th Grade students. The residency aims to explore ethnic instruments and African polyrhythms in this explosive performance by our very own students.
